Trails and walkways

The trails and walkways on the museum grounds allow visitors to immerse themselves in nature, surrounded by trees, flowers, and wildlife. The unique objective of the trails is to create an experience reflective of the original state of the woods and grounds pioneers would have seen over 100 years ago.

A system of trails and walkways connects the building and gardens, and provides access through the virgin forest as part of the Children’s Garden of Imagination. The trails connecting the buildings, gardens and parking area are accessible for wheelchairs and walkers.
